Rates are starting points per post, before GST, from our model. Niche doesn’t change them here.

How the rates on your kit are worked out
Every rate comes from the same pricing model as our influencer fee calculator. For each platform you turn on, we price its main format and one or two others:
- Rate = (avg views ÷ 1,000) × platform CPM × size premium × engagement × format multiplier, never below the platform minimum, rounded to ₹100 (₹500 above ₹10,000; ₹1,000 above ₹1 lakh).
- Size premium: 0.95 under 10K, 1 for 10K–50K, 1.05 for 50K–250K, 1.1 for 250K–1M, 1.2 above 1M.
- Engagement: 1 + 0.2 × log₂(your rate ÷ typical rate), kept between 0.8 and 1.2. No likes + comments entered means 1.
- Niche is not applied here — it is free text on your kit, not a category we price.
| Platform | CPM (₹ per 1K views) | Minimum | Formats (× main) |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₹500 | ₹1,500 | Reel 1, Carousel post 0.75, Static post 0.6, Story (one frame) 0.25 | |
| YouTube | ₹1,800 | ₹3,000 | Dedicated video 1, Integration (60–90s in a video) 0.5, Short 0.3 |
| ₹2,600 | ₹2,000 | Post 1, Document / carousel 1.2, Video 1.3 | |
| X (Twitter) | ₹900 | ₹1,000 | Post 1, Thread 1.5 |
| ₹320 | ₹1,000 | Reel / video 1, Post 0.6 |
Why views beat followers
A brand pays for people who see the post, and followers only tell you who could. Two accounts with 30K followers can average 8K or 40K views. So the model prices on average views: enter yours and they replace our estimate. Left blank, we estimate them from your follower count — for Instagram reels about 0.93× followers at 30K — and mark them “est.” on the card. YouTube is priced on views the same way, with its own CPM.
How the engagement label is set
Engagement = average likes + comments ÷ followers × 100 (÷ average views on YouTube, and only when you enter real views). We compare it with the typical rate for your platform and size (the same benchmarks as our engagement rate calculator): above 1.25× typical is “above average”, below 0.8× typical is “below average”, and in between is “in band”. A rate above the top of the normal range reads “unusually high — check”, not above average. The verdict is set on the rate as shown, to one decimal. The pitch email only mentions engagement as “above average” and leaves out estimated views; the text version keeps both, marked.

Media kit generator: common questions
What should a creator media kit include?
Who you are and what you make, your numbers per platform (followers, average views, engagement), who your audience is (age, gender split, top cities), the brands you have worked with, your starting rates, turnaround, payment terms and an email. This generator puts all of that on three cards.
How much should I charge with 30K Instagram followers?
With 30K followers and no view data, our model expects about 27.9K views per reel and starts a reel at ₹14,000, a carousel at ₹10,500 and a static post at ₹8,400. Enter your real average views and engagement and the number moves with them.
How are YouTube rates worked out?
On views, not subscribers. A 50K-subscriber channel averaging 12K views starts a dedicated video at ₹22,500, an integration at ₹11,500 and a Short at ₹6,800 in our model.
Why does my niche not change the rates here?
Niche is a free-text line on your kit, so we don’t try to classify it. Rates here come from views, account size, format and engagement. The influencer fee calculator applies a niche multiplier if you want to see that effect.
What does "above average" engagement mean on my kit?
We compare your likes + comments per post with the typical rate for accounts your size. More than 1.25× typical is above average, under 0.8× is below average, anything between is in band. Above the top of the normal range we show “unusually high — check” instead, since brands read that as a red flag. For a 30K Instagram account typical is 3.8%, so above 4.75% reads as above average.
What does "est." next to views mean?
You left average views blank, so we estimated them from your follower count using our view curve. Brands trust real numbers more: copy your average views from your insights to replace the estimate.
What payment terms should I put on a media kit?
The kit says “50% advance, 50% on posting” and one revision round included, which is a common ask for new brand relationships in India. Brands usually deduct 10% TDS on fees, and you add 18% GST if you are registered — agree both before you start.
In what format should I send a media kit to brands?
Download the three cards as PNGs (1080×1350, which also works as an Instagram post) and attach them to an email, or use “Copy as email” for a ready plain-text pitch with a subject line.
Is this media kit generator free?
Yes. It is free with no sign-up and no watermark beyond a small getcollab.in mark, and it runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent to us.
